Well, a return visit and the place is still the pits. ALL the staff need to attended a customer service course without delay. Everything always seems to be a problem in there. NEVER going back.

Was a bit of an odd experience, pur waitress smelt very bad, so each time she bought food our, she would lean across the table and we could smell it, a friend and I bought a pizza to share and it was very expensive for what it was, was very flat and more of a bread than pizza dough, and the Chinese fruit cake that a friend had brought, we asked if we could have a knife to cut the cake and the waitress went with the cake to cut it herself, and the owner of the restaurant asked if he could have a piece of the cake.

They do the best breakfast ever! Staff are hit and miss as sometimes they’re friendly other times very grumpy! Chocolate milkshakes are amazing. We often also go here for drinks and weekday meals as they have special offers.

I have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions and have only had pleasurable experiences. It is usually fairly busy which means the food and service can at times be understandably quite slow, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it as it is simply delicious, my food of chouce is usually the half rack of bbq ribs and bbq chicken, lovely. My only criticism’s come with the price as it is rather expensive and then also the quantity that you get in your dessert. This is because the waffles where you used to get two, you now only get one but they charge the same price, don’t get me wrong, they are gorgeous but they are indeed expensive. Overall the atmosphere is good with a great choice of music to compliment the dining experience(the soundtrack is actually available to buy on the table, its good, but not something I would choose to listen to outside of the restaurant but there you go).

I always have a good meal at this restaurant. Generally have a problem chosing what to have as it has quite an extensive menu. The kids menu is quite large too. Atmosphere is great but can get very busy. Service can be on the slow side but the food has always been worth it. Keep meaning to try their breakfast menu must try and get there earlier. Cocktails are good and there is a nice range of coffee’s too. Also an outside area which is nice in the summer months & for smokers. Not the cheapest place to eat at the Festival Park but yoiu do seem to get what you pay for.

I had the spaghetti marinara and it was awful! It wasn’t seasoned and the sauce tasted like the tomato sauce found in a tin of spaghetti hoops! However the waitress was lovely, as was my cocktail! I would go back but next time I’ll stick to a pizza or something else which doesn’t require the cook to actually be any good at cooking!

Located at the festival leisure park this is always my first choice when visiting the area. The menu is varied(obviously all Italian) but there are pastas, pizza’s, salads and meat dishes. The atmosphere in here is very good as they have Italian music playing and the kitchen is visible from the dining area so you can see the chef’s cooking up a storm. The place is always busy so a reservation is a must. There is a good bar area if you are waiting and I would definitely recommend the ‘woo woo’ cocktail. I have always found the staff to be efficient and friendly. I have visited this restaurant with friends and children and they provide the children with a mini colouring book and crayons which is excellent to keep the young ones occupied. Great atmosphere and great food for a good price.

Frankie & Benny’s is located in the Festival Leisure park which is located close to the town centre. The menu is varied and you can anything from steaks, pizzas, pastas etc. I love the desserts in here — in particular the cinamon waffle crunch. The menu is available online so you can have a look before you go. You can also buy gift vouchers which are a good present if you’re stuck for an idea. It’s an excellent place to go for lunch as they promise to serve you quickly, within 45 mins I think, so that you can fit a meal in a restaurant into your lunch hour.
