A well kept establishment with a keenly priced menu with some excellent meal+drink deals. Pub grub to be sure but the menu is extensive nevertheless.
On a few occasions, I have thought the bar to be short-​staffed which can lead to some delay in being served. However, once you have placed a food order, this delay does not seem to extend to the kitchen.

Huge meals, low prices and reasonable food — brilliant. Huge beer garden, loads for the kids to do and the beer price was reasonable.

This has recently been refurbed but it still leaves a lot to be desired. We had a sunday lunch here and the food was cold and mushy and after complaining to the waiting staff nothing was done and we were left to sit there with cold meals. There is a childrens play area which is quite large that can be hired out for parties. This is probably the only decent thing about it. It isnt in the best location and there arent many local activities nearby. There are better options in the area.
