New Yangs Chinese Restaurant

When this Resturant was owned and run by Annie it was easily the best chinese resturant in south wales, I used to all but live in the place. From the Millionaire king prawns to the sublime King Do spare ribs. mmmm Sadly Annie sold out and moved to Grangetown, so I go there mostly now. The new owners are OK, they kept the menu and recipies almost the same but its slightly lacking something and when a buffet starts to apear you know its a slippery slope. Saying thatf I need a quick fix of Kig Do Ribs ill pop on down but if I want a full blown meal, sorry im off to Grangetown.

Yang’s Chinese is a restaurant I remember very well since visiting as a child. I remember not even trying Chinese food before so I was skeptic. But as soon as I tried the food in this place I ended up wanted more. Especially those prawn crackers, I honestly think they have the best prawn crackers ever.
As far as the prices go they are extremely reasonable per person. Roughly spending around £12 plus drinks. Now the restaurant is a buffet so it has a set price and now it’s all you can eat. They also offer a take away option. You can order over the phone and get it delivered or go and pick it up. The food is just as good as they would serve it in the restaurant.
Definitely go and visit New Yang’s Chinese is Barry. It is definitely the best Chinese restaurant in that area. I could really go for a prawn cracker now…

Fantastic, tasty food whether you choose to eat from the menu or from the buffet.
Wide selection of foods for both those who eat meat and vegetarians. Buffet food is constantly replenished.
Good selection of Chinese beers as well as both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
You can order food to takeaway also. We enjoy the food so much that we have just changed from our regular chinese takeaway to here. You pay a bit more for it but the quality is worth it. They will happily create something that isn’t on the menu for you. I recently wanted to order a mixed seafood dish but did not see one on the menu. They happily created a plentiful one for me without question.
Staff are excellent, always friendly and are attentive without crowding you. Excellent place for a quiet meal or for a large gathering.
