Really nice pub if you like a good pint of bitter and no slot machines, been going here for 25 years :)

A really nice rural setting as you pass through the Wirral… This pub looks countrified from the outside and it is, the bar area is a traditional country snug with an open fire and dogs lounging around and the pub section is lovely if you want to sit and eat! There’s a full range of food and drink on offer, although I didn’t eat here, multiple real ales and loads of varieties when it comes to whiskey! Really nice pub with friendly staff and a warm welcome!

Great home cooked style food. A lovelyt old style pub, with lots of history inside, lots of old local pictures. A lovely homely atmosphere, this is one of my favourite pubs.
