The Alexandra is a locals pub and when we walked in, it was like everyone was staring. It kind of made you feel abit uncomfortable. The place was not that busy at the time and mostly men. This place did not really have much of an atmosphere. It has the usual TV screens which thankfully was not on at the time, but you missed at least some music to fill the empty background. The barman said it gets very busy on a Thu /Fri /Sat night. I had a quick half of ale which at 1.50 was average priced. They had a small selection of beers(Stella, Fosters, Carlsberg) on tap. Really nothing special. I guess I just did not like this place.
