I mean, as I’ve said previously ‘an Odeon is an Odeon’. It’s all pretty overpriced for what it is. Stale popcorn and small uncomfortable seats with hardly any leg room, absolutely gutting when someone sits directly in front of you as the seats aren’t low enough to see round their head(ok, I’m small but not that small!) The thing that really ground my gears about this one though is that the theatre comes directly off the lobby area so as our film was coming to an end and the next crowd was waiting to come in all I could hear was people talking and laughing outside. SO irritating! If you’re going to let people stand directly outside the doors at least have a sign asking them to stay quiet! I won’t be coming back to this Odeon, that’s for sure. The only redeeming thing is the staff — very friendly and nice — I just wish they’d been on the ball enough to ask the waiting groups to keep it down!

Not a bad cinema, small and intimate it makes a change from the generic modern mutiplexes. I dont know for certain when it was built, but it certainly appears to be art deco, so Im guessing the 1930’s. There is a reasonable sized carpark behind the cinema and a large pub next door for any pre film drinks that are required.

A smaller, more intimate cinema — not too expensive although not as big a range of snacks available as some bigger places.

Looks a bit old, feels a bit old and the price you pay is well over the top for the cinema. Small screens, small chairs and not a great deal of space. I’ll only go here because it’s close and easy to get to, other wise a dud if you’re looking for a truly top notch cinema experience.

Decent cinema. They get most of the new films as they come out. Nice, large screens.
