This recently opened store is TK Maxx’s first venture into North West Wales following their decision to abandon plans to build a new store in Llandudno. This branch has opened in (I think) the old Allied Carpets unit on one of the small retail parks off Caernarfon Road.
It’s not that bad a shop and is quite a bit bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. There are two floors, ladies downstairs with men, kids and homewear upstairs and there’s plenty of stock to browse through.
The problem I have with TK Maxx in general is that although they do offer generous discounts a lot of their stock is very expensive to start off with so even reduced to half price it’s still out of my price range.
If you’re determined to buy designer and branded clothing, and you’re not too bothered if you’re wearing last seasons designs, it’s definitely worth a look as you should save a few quid but I’ll stick with George at Asda!
