Sainsbury’s

It’s always good to have some competition when it comes to supermarket shopping because not only does it enable us to compare prices but it allows us to have a greater choice.
Sainsbury store in Bangor is always a pleasant shopping experience for some reason. I always find that no matter when you shop or how busy the store is it still seems to remain a relaxing experience and there never seems to be that rush and bustle that you get in some other supermarket stores.
The layout is very good with plenty of room between ailes. The produce is of a good quality and there are some good bargains. There is an excellent variety of food and some things that other stores don’t stock.
I love this store for its clothing and household goods especially their end of season sales as it is possible to buy quality items at half price and sometimes less.
The on site café is always very inviting with appetising smells meeting you as you enter the premises. There is a very good menu catering for a light bite or full meal with prices very reasonable.
This is an all round great shopping experience with plenty of parking places. My only fault of this complex is that the disabled parking places are at quite a distance from the front entrance but I don’t think this is anything to do with Sainsbury.

I have the tendency to park farther from the store entrance as the car park spaces are too narrow.

One thing about this Sainsbury’s really does my head in. It’s the car park. They have tried to jam as many spaces in as possible and in doing that the driving lanes are too narrow meaning that you almost have to fold your wing mirrors in when driving around the car park. This is a major design flaw and I would love to know the amount of bumps that occur in this car park.
The shop itself is great. It has a really large fruit and veg section and a good hot food counter — You know what you get when you go to Sainsbury’s. It’s the middle of the road supermarket although they often have really good offers on.
At peak times this Sainsbury’s can get incredibly busy so I would recommend going off peak or you’ll never get out of the car park.
