This place has cured many a hangover! I just found out it even delivers… meaning you don’t need to get out of your pit or worry about being over the limit. A pitstop will always sort you out ;) If your redy to face humanity why not sit in the café next door???

the takeaway fry experience is a big let down compared with how nice the café is, in here they are in such a rush to get the food out that they literally have it on the hot plate for 30 seconds meaning that your soda, potato bread and pancake etc are soggy and doughy not crispy as they should be better off if you have time sitting in for a fry excellent! !!!

Need something to fill that hunger hole? Give the Pit Stop carry out a try. Fresh cooked food and daily baked bread at a very reasonable price. There are seats as well so more than a carry out. For something more try the original Pit Stop next door.

The Pit Stop is the absoute ticket after a night out. As has been mentioned, it’s so well known in Bangor, and will be super packed on a Saturday morning with all the folk wanting to get some tasty food to soak up their drink from the night before! Their fries are delicious and they will put anything you want in it. The ingredients are all good quality, not like the horrible no make beans you get in a lot of other places. The price is also rock bottom too. I Don’t know how they do it, but I hope they keep at it. They also do great lunches, they have different soups on every day, which is what I normally get, which comes with fresh bread rolls or wheaten bread. Oh, and last but not least, but you can get your car cleaned while you eat, and all this still comes for a lot less than it would cost for just a meal in most places!

You wake up on 11.30am on a Tuesday morning, your head is banging at 100 miles per hour, your mouth is bone dry, you can still smell wine on your breath. What you need is a PITSTOP and fast! You can park up run in and grab your food and be feeling fully fit in no time. The Pit Stop does a good quality fry Ulster Fry up at a good price. There other hot meals are also excellent. A typical days menu might include meatballs, stuffed pork fillet, salmon fillet, sausage casserole and then your choice of veg for instance cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, mash and roast potatoes Mains are around £5−6, Ulster fries £4 and desserts £2−3. This place is not great for a meal out it really, its what it says on the tin, just a pit stop. The customer service is great at Pit Stop and they appreciate that you my be in a rush, on your lunch break or have a stinking hangover and they always try to get your grease to you as quick as possible.

Like its neighbour, The Pit Stop Café, this place is a complete landmark in Bangor and is always packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings with people going to get some food to mop up the booze from the night before and chase away the hangovers. If you are going here don’t be expecting too much in the way of health food. Its grease, grease and bacon but that is exactly what you want when you aren’t feeling the best. You’l pick up a soda bread with egg, bacon and sausage for about £3, which is good value and its always tasty. Good location too.
