Windsor Home Bakery

This joint has been newly done up and its pretty fancy, some lovely scenic photographs of the Mournes on the wall and on the other side a whole load of crap drawn by local brats almost put me off my coffee, the frames cost a fortune but they would have been better hanging there on their own.
My GF is a real fan, she goes there lots and lots with her mates, me less so, been a few times and the food is excellent (I have only ever had the fry mind you!) The manager is a really nice guy, friendly and charming which is more than I can say about some of the female ‘specimens’ roaming about, not to mention the ‘bouncer’ who clears the tables… he scares the bejeezus out of me, scowling all over the place daring anyone to leave a crumb on a side plate.
The food menu is standard sandwiches paninis etc and hot stuff at lunch time, all very wholesome and tasty. An added bonus is the bakery at one end you can pick up a delicious naughty bun to enjoy with your generous pot of tea.

Great place to stop to pick up some pastries for the office, a cae for the inlaws coming to visit, or to stock up on their gorgeous Apple tarts. Great staff, very friendly. well worth a visit!!!
