Doctor On Call

The doctor on call service is now located beside the cinema in ballymena to a lovely purpose built building where arena fitness used to be. The service provided by the doctor on call is certainly a good one. There is a number you call if you need assistance and that gets you through to the callcentre where details of the problem are then taken. Then a doctor calls you back — almost straight away in my experience — and either provides advice over the phone or arranges to see you either at the clinic or in your home depending on the situation required. It is great that the service exists as this means less waiting times at the local hospital

They’ve moved from here, hence the one star review! Seriously though, they now have much better and easier accessed premises next to the Cinema off the Larne Road Link Road, so if you have contacted them and need to go in and see a Doctor, don’t go to Garfield Place! They evem have their own parking spaces and if yo are feeling betterafter you visit them, you have the Cinema and eating places at hand.

This excellent service has now moved premises to Dalriada Urgent Care, 80 Larne Road Link, Ballymena, BT42 3GA. (beside the cinema)
