The store is easy to get to and has sufficient parking. Its right next to a petrol station with a Tesco Express and cash point, and you can take your recycling along with you as facilities are in the car park.
There is obviously a wide range of DIY products available here, along with plants and garden items, kitchens and bathrooms, lighting, paint, wallpaper and tiles.
There is always a range of seasonal items, with garden furniture and bbq’s in Summer and Xmas lights and decorations at the end of the year.
There are often sales and discounts advertised and some good buys to be found.
I’ve found service here to be a real mixed bag though, with some members of staff being very helpful and others feeling no need to help resolve problems. I would NEVER buy tiles in here again, after endless hassle over supposedly matching tiles, which differed in size between the colours. Other people I have spoken to have also had service problems with B&Q.
The store is cheaper than Homebase on some items, but the service is not as good.
