Hidden away off the main High Street, it has an adjoining car park reached from behind the shop. I always think having the windows blocked along Buckingham street hides it from peoples views. Anyone just looking at the High Street and Friars Square wouldn’t know it was there. It seems to be busy alot of the time but I find it has a feeling of being disorganised compared to the other Supermarkets we use, the lighting seems to make the shop feel depressing in my opinion. Has a good selection of the basics you may need and has some good bargains on non food items sometimes. I’m afraid its not my first choice of Supermarket but is useful if you are in town and want a few groceries rather than having to make another car stop on the way home.

This is really a very small Sainsbury and very hidden away behind some buildings. So you wouldn’t really know it was there unless you noticed the small sign in the road. I generally like Sainsbury for the odd thing, and I often go here for their cuts of meat. For some reason they do seem to be tastier with less fat on them than some of the meat available from the other supermarket chains. It also looks like they are starting to fight back to gain their market share again with all of the recent TV advertising and Jamie Oliver everywhere. Every so often you notice some of the offers in store are really good value.

This is only a small branch of Sainsburys, which does mean that the range is quite restricted, but it is very good for a basic shop and I find that I can get most of my shop here and don’t have a problem with items not being in stock. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it tends not to get too busy, so you can shop in peace and get through the checkouts easily. The car park is quite small and you can only park for 1 ½ hours. Parking costs £1, but is refundable when you spend £10.
