Millers Farm Shop should be a stop off point for anyone passing through Devon on the A35. Please ignore the Little Chef’s and service stations — STOPHERE! We pulled over on the way back from Cornwall, initially just for a coffee. However, the amazing garden centre and food hall just cried out for a rummage and I instantly knew I wouldn’t be leaving empty handed. If it wasn’t for the already full-to-bursting car, I would certainly have purchased more. As it was, I had to settle for some locally milled flour for my new bread making hobby and some salted caramel cookies. The farm shop is the size of a supermarket and has a huge variety of quality local produce. If I lived locally, I would shop here all the time. We sat outside and enjoyed teas and coffees, and my friends ordered sandwiches to take away. The service was really friendly here and it was a lovely spot to escape the traffic for a wee while.
