Great service. Kept fully informed of what was needed. No pressure. Good explanation to someone who is no techno genius. Will definitely use again if repairs needed and recommend this fast and friendly service .

Recently the charger on my laptop broke and I was desperate for a new one. I contacted Data and they said they were expecting a delivery of universal chargers in the next few days. When it arrived I went to the shop to buy it, the lady in the shop was really nice, even though I’d been ringing for the past few days asking if it had come in yet!
I had a few of problems with the charger though, she was really helpful and changed the head the first time it broke. When the same thing happened again, I said I wanted a refund because if it was just going to keep happening it was a waste of my time as well as hers. She said a refund wasn’t a problem, so I took the charger back and she gave me my money back.
Data is a small business so they don’t sell a huge amount of stuff compared to PC World but they are very compositely priced (the same charger in PC World was £56 whereas in Data it was £27) I also like that it is a small business, they value your custom more I feel.
I have an old laptop to take in, they charge £10 to diagnose the problem them they give you a quote for how much it will cost to fix it. I shall update/​add another review once I have used this service.
