The French Connection

I wasn’t sure at first as these type of restaurants are usually tasteless. However, that said — the food was delicious, cooked to perfection (apart from the mushrooms) I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend this to everyone. Menu is varied — I had buffalo wings (with blue cheese dip) and mixed grill.
Staff were very friendly and happy (Kira served me)
I will come back here in future and if the food stays this tasty then I will be recommending to my fellow business travellers — keep up the good work :-)

I do not recognise the pub from the last description, I thought that the décor was fine and the staff where both friendly and and hard working, I think that we should say right from the start that this is no 5 star restaurant nor does it pretent to be so.
My wife and I where staying at the near by Premier Inn Hotel for a couple of nights, when we looked at the menu in the room we both thought «yup this will probably be a boil in the bag» type of thing –WRONG !!! it was warm and friendly the food was VERY good steak cooked just as I asked, a shor but very good wine list at almost unbelieveable low prices — the whole deal was almost impossibe to beat, would I go back again? we did! the following night!!! and would at any time.

Food was good, Service was excellent, staff bent over backwards to meet the needs of our 5 year old — rustled up a banana split (even though it wasn’t on the menu).
Nice environment and would happily use it again.

We stopped here on Friday night for a quick drink and bite to eat after shopping at McArthur Glen. The bar/​restaurant has had a refurbishment in the last few months so is more comfortable now than it was previously when it was a Brewers Fayre.
Enjoyed a nice glass of wine before being taken through to the restaurant which is now called Table Table. It was comfortable with nice high back chairs and tables spaced out nicely so you weren’t on top of each other.
The menu looked very nice with plenty to choose from, but it was late to eat (8.30pm) so we opted for something quick and light — or so we thought. Having downed another glass of wine, we were still waiting for our meal at 9.30pm with no explanation of why there was a delay.
The meal was okay — nothing special, but the service was dire. I wouldn’t rush to return here for anything other than a drink I’m afraid.
