Fegos Caffe

So, this place is pretty nice and so was my waitress. But management is NOT. At the table next to me was a man who seemed to be the owner or manager. One of the waitresses came to him and informed him that a customer ordered a carrot cake without realising there was nuts in it and wished to swap it out. He then went on about «how stupid do you have to be» to order a carrot cake if you’re allergic to nuts. I was very upset. How could this man have no consideration for the customer who obviously just made a mistake in not realising/​forgetting there are nuts in carrot cake. He then went on to say oh well all of our cakes are made in a place where nuts are present so she just can’t anything. Se customer saw threw this dumb excuse of course and continued to order something without nuts. She, of course, had not heard what I heard or she likely would have just left.

Fegos is a great place for a quick, delicious meal any time especially the all day breakfasts. It’s often busy so call for a table. The staff are outstanding, helpful and friendly, always there when you need them. There are tables outside for the summer. Try a smoothie with your Eggs Benedict.

This café is positioned conveniently on Ascot High Street.
The café is spacious and light with plenty of seating inside and also some tables outside in front of the café for those who prefer to dine al fresco. The menu is reasonably priced and varied. They do salads, sandwiches, wraps, bagettes, pastas, burgersand a range of breakfasts. This is an upmarket café and not a greasy spoon and is priced accordingly. But the potions are very generous and the service is friendly and speedy. I particularly rate the hot chocolate served with marshmallows and chocolate shavings! There is limited parking in front of the café, but if that is full up then there is free parking all along Ascot High Street and also in a nearby supermarket car park. I would say this café is baby friendly and kid friendly IF your kids are able to sit still and not race about!
