Embers

Deplorable — one of the worst ‘restaurants’ I’ve been in. Food not great and service is terribly poor — extremely slow — to the extent we actually felt ignored. They actually charged the party I was with for food and wine we did not have and the manager/​owner — not sure what he was — was actually extremely rude when we queried the bill which his staff had made an error with. Will never return — absolutely awful…

The owner/​manager was so nice. Not only did he spend time talking to us for about 10 minutes, he made sure to go to every table and engage with them. The food was really quite tasty. A member of my party had the carbonara, and it was perfectly seasoned and the pasta was just right. The sauce was so creamy and lovely. Another member of our party had the teriyaki chicken and the chicken was tender and the sauce was great. I had the steak panini and I absolutely enjoyed the caramelized onions and steak. The only oddity for me (being American) was the «nacho» chips that came with the panini. They were actually Doritos I think, but I could be wrong. Other than that, I don’t really have a negative think to say about Embers, and if I find myself in Armagh again, I will certainly be going here.

Literally the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in the world!
