Located next door to the Premier Inn, I had two breakfasts and one dinner. The atmosphere isn’t inspiring, but the food is very good. Breakfast was really good, and free to Premier Inn guests. Continental included cold cereal, yogurt, fresh berries and fruit, crumpets, toast, jam, and more. Traditional English cooked breakfast had bangers, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, and tomato. Of all the hotels and B&Bs we stayed in, this was the best. They will also serve porridge if requested. For dinner, my travel buddy and I both ate fish and chips, salad and a mac and cheese side. The cod was really good, and the mac and cheese decadent. The salad was tiny and a little wilted. Oh, and yummy mushy peas. We had a smiles and nice chat with our server, Ms. Jamie. Thanks for taking good care of us, luv!
