I like the Entertainer in Amersham. It’s a pretty large toy shop for the high street, and they stock a good range of toys. The prices are pretty variable, as some things are pricey, but other things seem to be very cheap. It’s worth keeping an eye out for their regular sales and special offers, as you can get some very good deals. The shop is in two sections. One contains dolls, My Little Ponies, fluffy toys and that type of girly girl toy, and the other half is more like a standard toy shop. They supply a good range off toys suitable for tiny babies right up to more adult items like board games and remote controlled toys. They have a website too, but remember that the prices online are rarely the same as the instore prices, and the special offers are different. If you need to ask questions, make sure you get the right staff member, as the weekenders don’t seem to know as much as the long standing staff members.
