Amersham swimming pool

We were delighted to find this lovely pool in Amersham. I think it cost about £2.50 for the kids and they had a great time. Great flumes!!! My son and his friend spent almost two hours running up the steps and sliding down a choice of three flumes.‘The blue one was really quick’ (quote from my son). To make it safer there were screens for the attendant to see when the person in front had reached the bottom, so that he could send the chikdren down without fear of a collision. I sat upstairs witha full view of the pool and read my book! There is also a climbing wall on site which we didn’t use on that occasion and the main pool for normal swimming, which is sometimes laned for the more serious swimmers.
A good use of a Saturday morning.
