Amersham & Wycombe College

Amersham & Wycombe college run a huge selection of courses at different levels. from BFD (pre-​GCSE level) to degrees in association with BCUC. The teaching is mostly excellent, but varies a bit from staff member to staff member, but that’s the nature of education. The departments are well equipped for most ideas that the students want to put into action (at least I haven’t heard anyone complain). The Media department is particularly good, and I believe it is the only college in the country to have its own green screen and motion capture facilities. If you are looking into studying media or any type of arts based course I would highly recommend Amersham college. I don’t know too much about the more academic side of things though, so wouldn’t like to comment. The general atmosphere is relaxed but not lazy, and the staff are friendly and will usually bend over backwards to help us out.
