The Classroom

Love this place!
I practically drink in here every single weekend, it is fantastic and I especially love their themed bank holiday parties (which I always ALWAYS embrace, even if others don’t!).
They have cocktail menus dotted around the place, the lighting is very low (not so dark you can’t see though, even though I might have just got used to it!), and the bar staff are all incredibly nice and genuine (I’m not biased, honest!).
The cocktails they make are fantastic, if you’re a gin fan go and have a Raspberry Watkins, if you like rum have a Zombie or a Killer Zombie (not as good as Liars Clubs, but it’s not a tiki bar so what do you expect!). There is literally a cocktail on the menu that would suit every person, and when I’m having a girly night I have had a cosmo or 4!
They also do 2 for 1 cocktails on sundays (unless it’s a bank holiday), so if you’re going out for a meal in altrincham pop into classroom later on for a drink!
You will always see familiar faces if you go in there more than once, and I can honestly say I have never had a bad night in this place.

Good cocktails, relaxed good atmosphere!

If someone suggests going for a drink and your first thought is «Cocktail» then The Classroom is where you need to head, this is most definitely not a beer drinkers bar and the staff behind the bar will be sad if they don’t get to mix you a drink! If going with a large group of friends, you will find that there is not much in the way of seating inside, but plenty outside in a quaint courtyard, which is great in summer or winter if you have had one too many Champagne cocktails and feel impervious to the cold.
The staff are friendly and have a laid back attitude that transcends to your experience, you will also find the clientele laid back too! Live music sometimes gets an outing here on a Thursday night.

Easily the best bar in Altrincham (which isn’t solely because of the relative paucity of decent bars in the area). Great staff and great cocktails are a winning combination.
