Cheap and cheerful. Carvery for £3.99 in the week, can supersize for an extra quid. Good quality for the price. They serve giant desserts for £3.99 too. Recommend mid-​week if you’re local and can’t be bothered to cook

This place is great value for money you can get a cavery Monday to Saturday for £3.99 and it’s £6.99 on a Sunday. I have also had the curry off the menue and that’s nice too.
The staff are really friendly and its alway clean.
Reccomend for a quick meal and great value.

Great value for money. Plenty of tables. They have a good menu. Great desserts. There most popular is there carvery which is only £3.99 Monday to Saturday then £6.99 on a Sunday. All staff are friendly and there quick to clear tables after people have left. Very clean and tidy.

If you like to be served food by someone who does not smile at you and makes you feel like you should not be there, and to be waited on by a very rude irish lady who will argue with you and comment that your child should not have his ice cream because he has not eaten all his dinner then this is the place to go.
We have been twice now and both times have had this woman and she is awfull. wont be going again food not that good and that women a rude pain in the backside, try the old hall instead

whilst the food is ok and good value for money the landlady and some of the staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful,
apparently you are not aloud to have your own birthday cake in the pub… new one on me since i have never had this problem in much higher class establishments… think the owner has got to big for her boots!!!

The Hare and Hounds is a busy pub but it’s main attraction is that it offers carvery lunches, seven days a week. The prices are good, £3.99 for a main course Mon — Sat and £5.99 on Sundays. You may have to wait a while because it does get busy but you can get a really nice lunch. Starters and puds are also available but a main course is probably enough for most people. Drinks and coffee are reasonably priced and the service is good. Disabled access and toilets are available. Worth a visit!
