Cosy little Thai restaurant, Fantastic food every time! Staff are polite, The duck curry is ace.

A nice little restaurant tucked away just off the street. The staff were friendly but the man constantly calling us ‘boss’ was rather annoying. The Spare Ribs for a starter were the best I’ve ever had in a Thai restaurant. The main was a little disappointing though. I had the beef curry but struggled to get much of the sauce out as it was 50% oil. Far more then my colleagues had so maybe I was unlucky. The egg fried rice was good and after the meal I was pleasantly stuffed. The after dinner chocolates that came with the bill said Happy Christmas, which on 30⁄01 is a little odd… Would definitely go back again.

Currently listed here under ‘Turkish’, but it’s actually Thai and has been serving decent Thai food for many years. A comfortable restaurant with friendly helpful staff, usually fully booked at weekends. The menu is a little bit different to most Thai places — I think this is because it’s probably more authentic. If you’ve eaten in Thailand, you probably won’t be disappointed here but might want to ask for things a little hotter. Reasonable prices and nice wines. A good place for a cosy date or meal with the parents.
