This Mothercare is a fairly large store compared to other branches such as the one in the city centre. It does mean that it packs plenty of stock and by observation, more range of goods just by comparison. With the Early Learning Centre now combined with Mothercare, it is ideal for parents to find everything they could possibly want, to help raise their child. Prices are competitive and you will usually find that they are reasonable and of decent quality. Mothercare has been the main place for parents for a long time and it fully deserves to be; not hard to see why. Whether you’re looking for prams, baby chairs or cots, Mothercare has it all with staff that are always willing to help.

It makes sense that Mothercare have joined forces with the Early Learning Centre. After all, the latter specialise in practical and fun products for infants and toddlers whilst the former sell practical and everyday products for expectant mums and newborns. We’re talking everything from stylish maternity threads to baby-grows, breast pumps, sterilisers, nappies, cots, baby beds, strollers and baby bouncers. Everything is competitively priced and as most of the staff seem to be parents themselves, they are more than happy to offer free advice whilst serving you.

The new mothercare is open now and while it is very modern and well laid out it doesnt have the specialness of the old one which was further down the road. My daughter loved the old lift tree and pressing the buttons on it hasnt been the same since. The best bit was the upstairs toy section it used to be out the way so you could keep the kids away if you wanted to just nip in without having the moaning for more toys.
