Smarts just quite simply do the best fish and chips in Abingdon.
These fish and chips need to be savoured — eaten as soon as possible after purchase and enjoyed. Possibly with an ice cold beer on a cool but warm summer’s evening.
These aren’t just fish and chips, they are a sensual experience

If I fancy fish and chips, I always go to Smarts in the square, Abingdon (opposite barclays bank) as they do the nicest chips in Abingdon! They seem to cook things as they are needed which means a little bit of a wait but also means they are freshly cooked and not all shrivelled up and dry!
The staff are very friendly, and once gave my sister extra chips because she looks hungry lol!
