Enjoyed the Patlican and they have a good wine selection. The wait staff was friendly.

Overall a good place to eat in Aberdeen. I was not impressed with the mezze option I ordered. Dolmas — stuffed grape leaves. I am sure they were from a can. Same for the pita bread. It didn’t taste home baked. For my meal I ordered the Nargile special on the menu. They claim to put their homemade pita bread(not so sure) in the dish with a special sauce and thin sliced lamb. It was a large potion. Over all very good dish. I enjoyed it. The grape leaves and pita bread were average but the entrée was very good. So I give them, 4 stars. I’ll probably be back on my next trip.

We loved this place! It’s a Turkish restaurant that is central in Aberdeen. Very authentic-you could even see the owner directing the kitchen. The portions were massive and next time I go we will share starters instead of having one each. All five starters were lovely and they give you pitta with them. I’m biased but my main course was the best one. I had lamb with aubergine purée and I’d highly recommend it. The staff were friendly and polite & made a mean Turkish coffee!

Everything was excellent! From the service to the excellent dishes prepared. I had the chicken baked in the mushroom sauce and it was absolutely delicious! This is the first time I’ve come to Aberdeen and found a restaurant where I didn’t leave ANY food left on the plate! I would definitely recommend you try this place. I have 4 days left in Aberdeen and I’m pretty sure I’ll make a trip back before leaving :)

Ate here a couple days ago and it wasdelicious. I had the hummus and chicken and zucchini couscous. Hummus: not too oily, not too tahini, not too garlicky. The sauce for the chicken and zucchini was devine and tasted great with the couscous. To be honest, I could have just eaten a bowl of the chickpea-tomato addition in the middle of the couscous it was so good. More than that, the restaurant just had a really nice vibe to it. It may not sound like much, but the dainty clinking of a glass to announce that food is ready from the kitchen sounds so much more refined than the normal ding of the silver kitchen bell. The kitchen is right in the dining room and the clink lends an air of nobility and calm even if the kitchen is awash in activity. The dining area was bright due to the big windows and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommed.

This was an excellent find in Aberdeen! Everything is fresh and flavorful. We tried both the roast eggplant appetizers, one with a garlic crème sauce and the other with a tomato onion sauce. They were both great! I had the beef salad that could be had both as an appetizer or a main and it was wonderful. My friend had the stuffed chicken in crème sauce and it was also great. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the menu. This was my favorite place in Aberdeen and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Fine place for dinner. Multiple versions of kabob’s, including nicely prepared lamb. Humus was very good. I can’t recommend the calamari — not bad, but not prepared to my liking. Of course, why I ordered this starter in a Turkish restaurant I’m not sure? Casual dining within walking distance of the Malmaison Hotel.

Turkish restaurant in the city centre… it is expensive but the food is good! and I am Greek… I know what I am talking about: P :P One only big dissadvantage that the kitchen and the main restaurant is an open plan so you will go away and you will smell from the cooked meat, and the fried oil from the kitchen… but that does not keep you from eating the great food…

What a great wee find in Aberdeen! Late, hungry and distracted by shopping at Annie Mo’s, we were desperate to find some lunch in a town neither of us knew. The café next door seemed to have already shut it’s doors, and the lunch menu was off at Nargile, but we went for the a la carte menu anyway. So happy that we did — lovely fresh mezze — hummus, roasted vegetables in cacik(I think), roasted courgette in tomato sauce, with pita by the plenty. We shared a plate of grilled swordfish with amaze-balls rice(cooked with almond) — why have I never had this before? I would eat it EVERYDAY if I could. It’s not a cheap place to dine, but it’s definitely worth a visit. Enjoy!

This place is one of the best restaurants in Aberdeen!!! Besides that glorious turkish food, the quality of the produce is high. The Steak is some of the best ive tried. The hummus freshly & home made is the best i have ever tasted. Really id say the food here is better than you get in Turkey. The restaurant is well set out — you can see the chefs cooking away. And the staff Tayfun and Cihan especially are really friendly. Wish i could eat there every day

I’d never had Turkish food before, but if this is the standard, I’m hooked! Everything was delicious. There were 4 of us, and we sampled a bunch of starters, though that wasn’t really necessary since the main course portions were absolutely enormous. I left the place feeling like I never wanted to eat again, but that if I’d just had my last meal, I was perfectly okay with it!
