Don’t let the plasticky menus fool you: this is a verra nice pub with verra nice pints and verra nice staff. The food? It’s OK. It filled my hungover belly and was a wee bit on the spendy side. Lots of rambling rooms to wander through and not too many pepole shouting at large screen tellys. You can find your quiet corner and sit and read a book with your pint, if that’s what you’re after. After passing round all the massive chainy pubs in Aberdeen, this was a fair delight, if what you’re looking for is a traditional decent pub.

The first proper bar that i visited in Aberdeen. It has a few good real ales on at most times. It is a good place to go for pub food and to watch the football or rugby. The staff are nice and efficient. It is an interesting place to wonder around and can feel very different depending where you sit. It can be difficult to find a seat with a decent view of a TV

Liked the atmosphere here. No pretension, all age groups, and decent prices.

Very decent bar with plenty of space for bigger groups and great food. Friendly bartenders and good beer.

I’ve been to Ma’s a few times, the last time was extremely dissapointing. I don’t normally eat burgers but thought i’d be a devil and order one… it arrived and reminded me of School dinner burgers ie the reformed bits of squirrel from a tin which is sloshing around in brine. I ate the bun and left disgusted and starving. Got home and ate a pack of Garibaldi’s.

Ma Cameron’s claims to be the oldest pub in Aberdeen. Whether this is true or not, it is still a quaint pub. Laid out quite eclectically, the pub is actually quite large with two different bars in the pub. It has a good size menu of pub food and some other fancy dishes. The food was served rather swiftly and was quite tasty. There is a cute rooftop terrace that would be fun to sit up in on a nice day. This is definitely a good place to drop in for food if you are in the city centre looking for some cheap, good food.

A really nice pub with a homely atmosphere. It is situated just off Union Street, the main shopping street in Aberdeen, so it is a good place to stop off for lunch whilst you are shopping, or alternatively to go to on a night out. Serves a good range of traditional pub food such as steak and ale pie, burgers, chicken and also dishes such as tikka masala. There is also a good range of side dishes and puddings to choose from. It is a good menu which I always have trouble choosing from since there are so many nice meals, and the prices are reasonable too. Open for lunches and dinners. They stop serving food at night time, but you can still buy drinks. It is quite a large establishment so there is plenty of space to sit. They have a wide range of beers and spirits. The staff always seem to be friendly and food arrives promptly. The toilets are kept nice and clean, which is always a bonus.

I’m still a ‘Ma Cameron’s’ lass despite not living in Aberdeen anymore — but do visit when I’m back! I loved this place in by done days when it was ‘Ma Cameron’s’. It still has a good range of ale on tap and good food and would recommend although for me, it’s kind of lost it’s quirk over the years.

Ma Camerons. Fantastic bar, with good selection of beers on tap. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced and very popular. Food is average but you can pick up a decent enough burger. A great place to go for a chilled pint on a week night or for a great atmosphere at the weekend.

Having only been here a few times i’m not sure whether my review can be totally relied on but this is how i’ve found it. I visited when i was a student with a group of others and i did find it more to be an older peoples pub and i found the drink rather expensive. It was also extremely busy and there was literally no room to move. I expect this from a club but not so much a pub. On a plus side though the drinks were great along with the friendly customer service and being so busy i was surprised at how quickly we were served. 7 out of 10 for me.
