Very good! I highly recommend this place. Some of the best fish and chips I’ve had in Aberdeen. Enjoy!

Best Chip Shop in Aberdeen without a doubt!!! Great value for money, great fast service. Staff are really helpful and chatty. Could recommend everything on this menu as its all amazing quality. Fish is really lovely and large. You could also get a half chicked or a chicken balmoral yummy. Go if only once — you know you’ll be back

This is the only chippy in Aberdeen I can find with decent chips, everywhere else in Aberdeen, they taste like deep fried wood :( My favourite scottish meal is chicken, stuffed with haggis and then wrapped with bacon. at Hass’s I can have this, coated in batter and deep fried. It is the single most awesome thing I have ever had from a fish & chip shop. My wife likes a fish supper, Hass’s always supplies something in the region of 2ft long(and no, I am not exaggerating!) which she tells me is stunning(I am allergic to fish so can’t comment on that) The staff are always friendly and chatty. It’s worth saying you will be there for approx 10mins as everything is cooked to order to be fresh. It’s no problem, you do it in the indian, chinese, kebab place etc so there is nothing to complain about here either. If you have never been, give em a shot, you will be glad you did!

This is the best chippy in Aberdeen… the Urquhart Road chippy coming a very close second. I appreciate a good chip and this place has the consistency, texture and flavour of it’s chips just right. Also, very good value for money, I had a chicken breast lump thing with haggis inside it, wrapped in bacon and it was huge. I was gnawing away at it for 2 weeks.

Hass’s is the nicest chippy I have ever been in. Not only is the interior clean and new, but they have a great selection of food, including some more gourmet offerings on the menu. They use all fresh fish, picked up from the docks in Aberdeen. They make the fish fresh for each person… takes a few minutes to cook, but definitely worth the wait. Their prices are very reasonable… some things seemed down right cheap. I was just surprised there wasn’t a line out the door when I visited there, giving how good their food is.

I still cannot comprehend the thick Scottish accent but this place has the best fish & chips in Aberdeen. This place doesn’t open until the late afternoon and caters to the afterwork & late night crowd. So if you want to have a chipper in Aberdeen, I highly recommend this place.

Hass’ Fish and Chips is my favourite place to have a chipper from in Aberdeen. The jumbo sausages and chicken burgers are fantastic and my partner loves their chips, cheese and gravy with a white pudding on the side. They also offer their unique chicken supremes which are either a white or haggis pugging, wrapped in a chicken breast then battered. Great for the tastebuds, not so great for the waistline! They cook everything from scratch so it can take up to 10 minutes for your food to be ready but it’s well worth the wait as you are rewarded with crisp batter and perfect chips every time. It’s not the cheapest chip shop(nor the dearest) but it’s worth every penny! The staff are a good laugh and are always cracking a joke. I’d recommend to anyone and everyone!
