I would give it 20 stars! It is the restaurant of choice on the Sintra Majik tour with lunch, and worth EVERYPENNY! The owners are SOADORABLE, I wanted to pack her up and bring her home. And the food? OMG! We had their house special bean stew, with everything chock full of huge chunks of every part of pork we love(including pigs feet). Luscious and decadent, a blue collars meal that EVERYONE was having, along with their creamy mashed potatoes. SIMPLYTODIEFOR. D E L I C I O US! Their one bite cheese cake version and their desserts in general are true Lisbon/Sintra. Another dish, fish in a shrimp sauce… Also excellent. Great wines, great prices. Time it right, the place PACKS and we were off season! If you want authentic food the locals come for in droves… This is where you want to be. No frills. Just REALLYHONESTTOGODGREATFOOD, in a very clean restaurant! I LOVETHEM!

Awesome little restaurant in Sintra. Highly recommend the grilled sardines and the monkfish rice. The portions are quite large and everything is very delicious. This place is also pretty highly regarded by locals.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of Villa Branca Jacinta(a wonderful bed & breakfast in Sintra). It’s just around the corner from the train station and serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. We had steak with mushroom sauce and french fries plus the grouper. Both were very tasty. Plus they brought a complimentary glass of Porto wine after dinner.

Was a recommendation from the hotel staff from our hotel in Lisboa. Traditional Portuguese food. Had the specialty salted cod and a meat dish with fries. Chocolate mousse with port wine. When they brought our tab they brought a bottle of port and two glasses and said«On the house» and walked away. Friendly staff, great authentic food and reasonably priced! Must visit!

The best place in Sintra. While its out of the way, it seems to be the least touristy place we could find. We stopped in the evening for queijados, soup, and drinks and returned the next day after seeing all the delicious food being eaten around us. The prices are reasonable, though certainly not cheap. You can find various staples of Portugese cuisine just like grandma used to make.(Or so I imagine if I had a Portugese grandmother)
