Traumhaft chillige Strandbar, vom Ambiente her geht’s kaum besser. Schöné Auswahl an Snacks. Alles, was wir hatten, war extrem appetitlich, frisch und lecker. Service passt auch — unaufdringlich aber präsent. Ich habe auch noch keinen anderen Betrieb gesehen, in dem der Service über einen Drücker am Tisch gerufen werden kann (siehe Bild). Schwer, hier wieder aufzustehen…

Praia da luz c’est ZE bar de l’avenida do brazil. Le cadre est idéal pour un Apéro au coucher du soleil. Il y a des transats, des canapés, des poufs, et tout ça les pieds sur la plage. Le bonheur quoi. La musique est sympa, une ambiance lounge très cool, il y a des soirées organisées également l’été. Par contre c’est très cher pour le Portugal, 8EUR un cocktail de mémoiré. Mais bon ça n’empêche pas que ce soit un bar très fréquenté :)

Das Café del Mar von Porto nur, dass man dort leider keine CD’s der schönen Musik kaufen kann, die einem dort um die Ohren gekuschelt wird.
Es gibt einige gemütliche Sofas mit Blick auf Sand und Felsen, den denen sich die Wellen spektakulär brechen und eine gute Snack– und Speisekarte. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, die einen auch bei nur einem Glas Wein stundenlang chillen lässt.
Selbst ein vernebelter Nachmittag wird so zu einem angenehmen, entspanneden Erlebnis. Wenn ich irgendwann wieder mal nach Porto komme, muss ich da unbedingt wieder hin!

This charming (working) fishing village is situated on a sheltered crescent beach of Over a mile in two distinct zones. The 1^st (eastern side) is beautiful white sand and blue flag bathing area. The second (western side) is a rocky out crop filled with rock pools teaming with life to explore. The western side of the the bay is punctuated with an historic church and a fortress set into the rock face which by day serves food and refreshments and by night is a very popular resturant. The opposite side of the beach is also punctuated in contrast to the historical fort and church, with a much more modern beach hut called Chico’s offering every conceivable water sport and the tuition and equipment for it. Connecting these two worlds of past and present is the avenida da pescadores, a beautiful calsardia paved promenade passing roman ruins and enumerable restaurants offering sea views and sea food for little money. The beach is both long and wide, so much so, One particular bar /​restaurant called the paraiso has even built on the beach itself, thereby offering excellent views as well as good food and wifi. The beer here is cold and refreshing, particularly if you stitch to the local brew of sagres. This beach is excellent with is clear turquoise water (albeit a little variable in temperature due to being the Atlantic.) and apart from july and august is never too busy to use.

Sehr nettes Restaurant und Café im Sommer wie im Winter. Sehr gute Qualität was Essen & Trinken angeht. Besonderer Tipp: geht zum Abendessen dorthin und genießt vor dem Abendessen den Sonnenuntergang in den Liegestühlen direkt am Meer!
