Typical family restaurant.
Very hard to get a table, food is tasty, fresh and simple.
For sure not a turist trap with super kind staff and shity food.
Prices around 20 € per person (main dish+drink)

Romantic restaurant, that feels like stepping back in time.
Great spot for local cuisine, it’s small, romantic, and tasty. The owner is very attentive, making sure we had all we needed. My wife and I don’t eat Gluten, and they we accommodating, prepping a fried fish dish with out the breading. It was a great spot to spend the evening together.

One of my goals in Portugal is to try as many different preparations of bacalhau as possible. This one was lightly crusted with bread on top, and was served with roasted potatoes and other vegetables. The bacalhau was very flavorful, and the portions were very large. If not for being an American, and not wanting to take the food home (because we had all of our meals planned, and were unlikely to eat things that weren’t planned for), I would have saved the rest for later. I was very full after this meal. On top of the delicious bacalhau, this place also had very good coffee. I am not a coffee drinker, but I ordered some after my meal and was very impressed.
