As it says next to those five stars: «Woohoo! As good as it gets!» This was a tiny bakery right near our hotel in Ovar, and if you are staying anywhere near here, you must check it out. The space is sparsely decorated, with mute coloured walls and driftwood counters and hanging artwork. There are a few displays around showing off some of the desserts they make and bread they’ve baked. Buy something, buy anything. Everything we tried was amazing, fresh, sweet, delicious. We ordered two rolls of bread and they gave us two giant chunks of four attached rolls of bread. And we snacked on it with butter from our hotel for the rest of the stay. And of course, the top part is it is INSANELY cheap. And I’m talking the chunk of roll was 35p. Not pounds. Pence. Insane. They don’t speak a lot of English and we had to point at a lot of things, but it didn’t matter. We walked in curious and walked out happy.
