Vitaminas – Armazéns do Chiado

This place was OK for a chain-​style fast (fresh) food place. Three stars may be too generous.
It is a «pick your ingredients» type place, with ingredients of little excitement.
You could build your own sandwich or salad. Most of the items probably come out of pre-​packaged bags. I would compare it to bagged salad in a supermarket. Nothing special, but it fills your stomach.
They also have two soups to choose from. I tried the spinach soup. It was average and tasted like simple creamy spinach soup.
You won’t find a bunch of spicy sauces or great dressings for your sandwich or salad. Simple stuff which makes it taste, well, simple… I wish I could provide a better description for you.
The juices were not very good. I was looking for fresh juice and this stuff was pre-​mixed and not very fresh. I think you can order fresh orange juice.

I have mixed feelings here. This place has the best salads I got on my trip, but it was overly expensive for Lisbon… It is basically subway for salads and panini’s… Not great, but not terrible… but it is the only place to get a huge salad.

Très pratique pour le déjeuner: salades, sandwichs, jus de fruits de frais.
Les plats sont copieux et bien frais. Le pain aux céréales est très bon!
Cependant, l’accueil est rapide (- fast food ok) et l’addition un peu salée (2 sandwichs 2 jus environ 20 euros).

I’ve eaten at this place several times! They make great salads. My goodness, though they’re pricey. However, when you need to have a yummy salad, this is the place to get it from. Fresh ingredients, quick service and they also have great freshly squeezed juice. The portions are large and you can’t go wrong with a 5 ingredients salad. I’ve been to their other locations too. They’re equally good! :)
