Chronopost International

Simply, DO NOT USE CHRONOPOST.
I sent a very important package «overnight» from Paris to Lisbon to a friend staying in Lisbon for about 3 – 4 more days. The French Chronopost people confirm that the package got on a flight out to Portugal on the day I sent it, but since then, it hasn’t scanned in anywhere in Portugal. My friend, incidentally, is departing Portugal today.
NONE of the phone lines in Portugal are in service… not any of the local stations in either Lisbon or Porto, and the main customer service line doesn’t work. The French agents have sent messages to Portugal twice now with no response, so we’re pretty much stuck. I don’t know what kind of operation they’re running out there, but this is absolutely awful.
I’ll repeat myself one last time, unless your item is garbage, and your intention is to completely dispose of it into utter obliteration, DO NOT USE CHRONOPOST. You will never see your parcel again!
