Pestana Cascais Ocaean & Conference Apart-Hotel

It all depends on your expectations!
For a four star hotel, it didn’t meet ours!
— the door of the bedroom looked like it was broken in before and quick fixed.
— the bathtub had seen better (cleaner) days
— the TV is from the last century
Met expectations on:
— comfortable beds and pillows
— A/​C was strong
— room was tidy and clean
— big balcony
–TV with channels in English
The breakfast was a battlefield: guests against guests against service personnel.
The food looked on the edge of eatable, the coffee was instant and tasted well to it! I had better buffet in Ibis hotels. Sometimes is better to reduce the items and offer better quality…
The waiters had two things in mind: clean dirty tables and keep the buffet from getting empty, so we entered and left the room without having talked to anybody (or seeing a smile or friendly face for that matter). They did managed to clean all the tables fast, but at the cost of throwing plates and cutlery down which made the room really loud. They failed to keep the buffet full.
The reception team was really friendly and cooperative in giving information about the hotel and cascais (again met expectations)…
The outdoor pool looked nice and the garden too, but we went all the time to the beach and didn’t use it.
Nothing for me and my family…
