I was so looking to try this place as it smelled so good but the waffles were below average. The breakfast Turkey, egg and toast were the worst. So blend– no flavor at all. Very dry turkey completely not seasoned at all. We ended up tossing it out. The plastic knives werent capable of cutting the waffles or the turkey. Terrible experience. Avoid it if you can.

The waffles were good but the plastic knives aren’t enough to cut them! Kind of a pain. The Nutella latte is where it’s at though.

Very good quick food. Great for a quick light breakfast. Egg ham cheese sandwich was good and hot. Strawberry waffles good and filling. Service was prompt. Nice outdoor seating area.

Very, very small inside. They had an interesting menu that included waffles, pastries, omelets, sandwiches and a variety of coffee beverages. I just got a mocha with caramel syrup. They have soy milk as an option, which was awesome as I prefer that in my coffee drinks. Prices seemed a little high, but it is a small specialty café next to a big hotel. Service was slow, and they were very busy this particular weekday morning around 9am. There were 2 guys working, one doing the food and the other cashiering and making the drinks. They have a few tables outside and there is additional seating along the patio and around the park. The location is awesome — it is at the park just up from the ocean. The mocha drink was very good, better than Starbucks! I took it and enjoyed it while walking on the beach.

My 12 yr old ordered a traditional waffle. Even for her age way too sweet and she could not finish. I had an omelette w cheese which was small and fairly tasteless and greasy. Other orders were ham and cheese sandwiches — nothing exciting there.

I had high hopes for the Waffler. Ordered a liege waffle but it was very dense and bread like. It was also over cooked — black on the bottom and hard. It was so dense that it was difficult to eat. I also feel it was a little overpriced for what you get.

A little pricey, but given the premium location, it’s no surprise. Good coffee, great atmosphere, fun menu.

We tried their savory waffles. I thought they might use waffles in lieu of bread but instead they baked the meat and cheese right into the waffle. It was a little strange, but a pretty good light and inexpensive lunch all things considered. I’m not sure if I would dignify it with«Belgian.» Seating is limited.

This restaurant has good tasting waffles. We can either select an item from the menu(e.g, Nutellaville waffle) or make your own. I got the Nutellaville waffle and it was delicious. Obviously not healthy, but who cares… it was delicious. Prices can range on the pricey side, but if you enjoy waffles, especially ones filled with extra sugar… this is the place to try. Also, my husband recommends the banana waffle filled with whip cream, chocolate and peanuts.

I had the ham and cheese waffle, and my mom had the waffle with chocolate drizzled on it. Both were amazing! The waffle was freshly made, crisp, and savory. The ham and cheese waffle sounded interesting at first, but the flavors work. I would go back in a heart beat to try more.

Spent 11 $ for a waffle Sammamish and a latte. I enjoyed it enough that I went back the next day and there is a fine chance that I come back again before going home. I can’t give any comparison in meals as I keep ordering the same thing, but that 1 thing is excellent!(Waffle Sandwich with egg and ham)

I had a great breakfast here. I’m not big on nutella so asked for something different. The waffle was soft and there was a perfect amount of topping. I added powdered sugar and honey for a final touch. The toffee coffee was delicious too! I’ve been to similar bakeries/waffle houses and this was in line with some of the best I’ve had. The wait was super long though which I didn’t understand because we were the only 5 people there. One of my friends didn’t get hers until the rest of us were done. I guess that’s what happens when you only have 2 waffle irons. I’d go back again though.

The one thing that will make any business survive or fail is attention to detail. Having been here, I can say that that does not exist here. But being that it is Condado and most customers may only visit this place once since it is in a tourist area, it will likely not be a problem. It looks fairly innocuous. But look any further than the surface and you will notice things like having to ask for everything. The tables outside had the finish pulled off in places due to plates and messes sitting too long in the sun. The waffles, which to make an entire menu based on, need to be exceptional. These are only so-so. I would rate the waffles at a solid C, maybe a C+ on a good day. A few measly pieces of bacon could easily sex it up, but no sides of any kind are offered. All in all, it’s not terrible, however there are far better options in Condado. I would recommend Ben and Jerry’s next door before this place.

Cute concept. But… Wait time was very long… I can understand they’re making the waffles from scratch. So why not have seating? Standing room only for ordering. Outdoor Tables(3) were pretty filthy. No indoor seating. Lattes were meh Daughter did enjoy her her strawberry smoothie. She finished the whole entire smoothie. That’s says something. Waffles with blueberry, bananas, strawberry were so so nothing to brag about. And did have something else but also didn’t really think it worth it for me to try to remember. Again, cute concept but lacking a lot. Good luck.

Good, but not great. My palate has tasted true Belgian waffle; So, the food choices got too complicated and it has become one of those… «Once you’ve tried Belgian(waffle– when in Belgium), you never go back» kinda thing — I no kid! Whoever said being a foodie is easy? Still… San Diego — please add this to our venue collection of yummy indulgences. This venue sells two kinds of waffles. The one way and the transit. One way waffles are circular, smaller, sweeter and thicker(falls apart — almost dry) in consistency. This waffle has the pearl sugars mixed in. The transit waffles are rectangular in shape, not sweet, and softer in consistency. So, choose wisely between smaller and harder or bigger and softer. JK! Or be like me and order three(to share of course) so you can try as much as your tummy can handle. Regardless of size and consistency, the Waffler Avenue will give you numerous options to dress up your waffle like you would your sundae. Toppings include dark chocolate or Nutella sauce, nuts, fruits… even ice cream. Not feeling waffly? Try their other foods– chocolate dipped strawberries, baked goods(baked with cream cheese) perfect for a quick breakfast bite… there are many assortments of coffees, too! Prices are reasonable! Definitely visit this joint if you’re in this hood!

We walked in for brunch on our last morning in PR. We knew immediately what we wanted and ordered the«one way with a scoop of vanilla ice cream». 20 mins later we received a beautiful waffle sprinkled with powdered sugar and huge scoop of ice cream, but a long black strand of hair. Being that my hair is blonde, I knew it wasn’t mine. Unfortunately, the two kids working looked as if I should just eat it regardless of the hair strand, but that wasn’t going to happen. 5 minutes later, he brought out a tiny, hard to cut, burnt waffle with partial melted ice cream :( I’m not sure if it was because he refused to eat the first one or what, but we left disappointed and very much unimpressed.

A cute plaza with several restaurants to chose from. I stopped my morning stroll for the smell of a waffle. I went in and ordered the Nutella-vile waffle and paid a little extra to add a banana. I stood in line patiently and placed my order. They take cards no problem. The service was a bit slow, but I had a book and the breeze was lovely. When I went to pick up my waffle they forgot the bananas, but an easy fix! Then they made an extra latte and I got that on the house! The waffle, warm and gooey. Topped with vanilla ice cream melting in the sun and drizzled with Nutella and caramel sauce. This was definitely more of a dessert than a breakfast, but I wouldn’t change a thing. A wonderful indulgence!

Enjoyed a late breakfast /brunch of sort here. Everything was a la cart but the Belgium Waffle sandwiches were very tasty and the coffee was really good. Nice casual — quick spot to eat and not too expensive. Try the Panini also. Really good.
