This review is solely for the vegetarian food. The only plus is that they had vegetarian food. We got the veggie tacos and veggie quesadilla. Both were horrendous. The guy told me when I was ordering that they put soy granules in the veggie stuff, but I didn’t realize that that would be tge only stuffing. It tasted so bland, almost like mud. The tacos were slightly better than the quesidilla. Even the cheese cake was bad.

Malo malo malo, el peor servicio. Pagué por mi comida, me la dieron mal, la devolví… Me la volvieron a entregar mal. No me dieron ni recibo. Me hicieron gastar el dinero. Mi experiencia me hace no querer volver.

We were staying in town on vacation and went here based on the reviews and was quite disappointed with how others rated the food. We had the Triple appetizer, chicken burrito and chicken wrap. The chicken is cubed instead of shredded and without flavor. The appetizer I would classify as bar food, something pre made and kept in the warming pan. Not planning on a repeat visit.

The food is just delicious. The mofongo con camarones en salsa is to die for. The quesadillas are tasty too. Great service and lovely owners.

I was on vacations in PR found this place through Unilocal.Food was delicious and extremely cheap. Met the owner a humble super nice lady, she even gave us free shots, and advise on where to go visit while our visit! The shots were delicious, so was the food. We went back on Thursday night, they had the whole street closed a whole bunch of college kids, everyone was friendly and the vibe was great. Place was packed and drinks were extremely cheap. I love this place! I love the way I was treated! I totally recommend it!!!

One if my favorite restaurants. Anything, from quedadillas to mofongo, is guaranteed to impress you, without having to take price into consideration, which is a second huge us. Being a student on a budget, this is my usual go-to place after class for a meal. It’s a very nice place to just have a drink or a beer while watching sports or just having a chat.

This place is such a gem. My friends have ordered a lot of take out from this place but it’s a great place to hang out and sit in too. I’ve had the special with creole shrimp for less than eight dollars! And they are so generous with portions here it just left me extra satisfied. I’ve tried the burgers here too and they rival the overpriced hipster burger joints infesting the East Coast and rest of America. I was pleasantly surprised by how vegetarian friendly the place was. My friend who is a vegetarian had confirmed with the cook that their beans and mofongo have no meat in them(people usually can’t tell but it’s common to put these in food for extra flavorings) My friend had a good vegetarian burger that I believe was made from soy. This location is about a five minute walk to the university gates and campus. They have indoor air conditioning with a chill atmosphere. They also have an outside area that is smoker friendly and for those who like to chill with a drink while people watching. It’s an easy find on the Avenida that is littered with trendy bars/restaurants for the college crowd, but also family friendly before sunset(drinkers come out and play after). There is also a hotel(across a run down church with beautiful architecture) I’ve heard is pretty cheap for those who are on a budget or want to explore an area that is rich in culture and style and good eateries like this place.

The churrasco that they serve with rice and beans is amazing. For less than $ 8 dollars, this is a definite win.

College Bar close to the UPRRP campus. Cheap prices and a nice place. Not much stars because it can get annoying when really full and the bar area has few bartenders to keep up with the demand. The bathrooms are horrible but everything else is great. theres a cafeteria inside so you can have lunch or order food late at night.

Vidy’s is located just up the block from the Walgreen’s and across the street from three or four other small eateries. While I was studying in Rio Piedras, the University of Puerto Rico had their meal plan with Vidy’s, even though it’s really a hole in the wall café/restaurant. Regardless, every day twenty to thirty students and faculty would line up out the door to receive delicious food. It ranged from quesadillas to mofongo, and the Puerto Rican favorites like chicken and rice(arroz con pollo) and sliced marinated steak(churrasco). They had about 10 tables and a video game machine. Oh, and I can’t forget the non-working ATM that probably just stole people’s debit card numbers. The staff were always friendly and only a few laughed at the sad attempts of New York natives to pronounce words in Spanish.
