The bar tender is amazing and extremely polite! I can’t say the same for her boss. Very unprofessional in front of the customers! Mean boss mean!

Not bad food, Chili was quite good, Burger was slightly above average. Service was kinda weak and uninterested.

Tip: Minimum of $ 10 to charge credit card. I guess this place is a restaurant in the day time. I came for the bar/club at night. This place was packed. The music was decent. It was really hot inside. The bartender was really friendly. A lot of locals hang out here.

We stumbled upon this place because we just needed a quick bite for our last lunch in Puerto Rico. Great find! I saw a lot of people had problems with the drinks but we didn’t have any just food so I can’t speak to that. The server was really nice and joked with us. It was kind of slow to get our food but when it came out we realized why. We got the guac with plantain chips and WOW. I haven’t had guacamole that great in a while. My friend who is pretty much an avocado expert was even impressed. It was made from scratch and chunky and perfect. The plantain chips were homemade and fresh(hot!) and perfectly salted. Seriously impressed by this even thought it was so simple. They have a great lunch special where everything is $ 8 or $ 9(I can’t remember) and I got the Arroz con Pollo which had great flavor and more fresh avocados. The only thing missing was maybe some tomatoes to mix it up a little bit. I also tried the carne frita(pork with onions) with mofongo which was really tasty. The pork was only a little dry but the flavors were good. The mofongo was chunky which was different but still good. All in all everything we ate was great! The people were nice and it was really cheap. No real complaints here.

Had a nice time here. Right in old san juan. Parking is tough use a garage a few blocks away and walk. Food was awesome very authentic tasting. Drinks were a little pricey they charged 4.00 for a local beer that most places charge 2.00 tops. Good piña colada but again 8.00, a little pricey. The food was reasonably charged as we came for lunch and they have several specials that were 7.99. Portion sizes were good. Overall for a tourist trap not a bad place for lunch.

I have been going around tasting different mexican restaurants due to my love of(piqué) spicy mexican sauce, refrito(refried beans), authentic margaritas(none of that margarita mix crapola) and decided to stop by. I was unpleasantly surprised when they served the totopos and margaritas. The mexican sauce was not to my liking(not at all spicy like Margaritas mexican restaurant or good flavor like Tijuanas or Auroritas !!). The margaritas were not to my liking as well, they had that margarita mix crap(i have dont homemade margaritas with margarita mix better than this one: True story) Once i finished that margarita i decided to pay up and go. But not all is lost, i stop by here for purchasing beers, vodka w/cranberry, or cuba libre(basically for hanging out, not for dining out). For dining out i rather walk down to Tijuanas which is also in old san juan(and have kick ass food and their margarita tradicional and margarita patron patron are to die for !!).

Stumbled upon this place while walking the streets of Old San Juan. It isn’t a very big restaurant, mainly a bar area with a small dining area off to the side of it. I like the overall look though, very old fashioned kind of bar. I had the pulled pork tacos, I’m pretty sure pulled pork anything is awesome and these tacos were indeed very good. Nice flavor with the pulled pork, it was also moist and well put together. I also had a cuba libre, that was heavy on the rum that added that extra boost to my meal. Service was just alright, nothing special at all. The bartender was also the waiter for the entire place from what I observed, so she was back and forth and all over the place but she was nice enough. Definitely worth a visit if you’re enjoying a stroll through Old San Juan.

The chicken nachos were delicious. Big chunks of tender chicken and really good cheese. We also had pineapple margaritas that were strong. Our bartender Marissa was super friendly.
