Always a pleasant experience even when crowded. The wait staff could use a bit more service training but the great coffee and good food make up for it. Love the French Onion soup with extra cheese!

One of the best brunch in PR. The florentine eggs benedicts are excellent. On Sundays their is always a crowd for brunch.

Our waiter was very impatient and harsh towards us. He also didn’t know about most things we asked about on the menu. I asked about a few pictures and he had no idea what was what. The French onion soup was amazing, the Florentine eggs and the Benedict eggs were on point. It’s good authentic french food at a great price. Such a shame the staff was unprepared.

We went there around 12:30PM. Parking was packed as well as the restaurant inside. The gentleman at the parking was very nice and customer service oriented. Once inside, the story was different… We waited about 5 minutes in the Wait-to-be-seated area. The«host» and two other employee looked at us from the other side of the restaurant, but nobody approached us to greet us or tell us anything. After about five more minutes, one of my companions went to the counter on the other side of the room and asked them why nobody has gone and greeted us. The man said it was because there were no tables available. My party asked how long would it be until one is available. The man said he didn’t know and didn’t made any customer service oriented comments or approach. We left! Don’t plan on going back again! Maybe they are racists and don’t want black people in their restaurant or maybe they think they have so many customers that they think that losing a few new customers wont make a difference. Unless if you want to be treated like if you were getting food for free, don’t go there!!! We

Delicious! If you arrive by car expect to be valet parked. You won’t receive a ticket for your keys though.

It was our last one. The island and we wanted breakfast. We’ve been here in the past but this is the 1st time writing a review. This place was just like we remembered and the food was really good. Service was on point. My wife had the French Toast with apples which were crisp and almonds as well. It was delicious and I only had one bite. I had the eggs benedict, which I don’t always get and it was perfect. Coffee here is great, a must every time.

We both had pancakes, huge, thick, and buttery heaven on a plate. Had to wait over 20 minutes for a table which was well worth the wait, only because we had free time on our hands. A bit expensive for brunch, but again, really good food.

The Good, coffee, breads, french toast. Improvement suggestions: Omelets: Sauté the vegetables more. Potatoes: Come on. kick it up a notch. And last time I ordered they were cold.

Supposedly the best place for bread in San Juan. It was decent, but I’ve had better. We ordered croissant, pain au chocolat, coffee and sourdough. The croissant had a glaze on it, which made the top too flaky but hard. The taste was good still, buttery sweet as it’s supposed to be. The pain au chocolat was much better and good not-too-sweet chocolate inside. The coffee was good, but having just had some cofffee at Hacienda San Pedro, there was no comparison. The sourdough had good texture but wasn’t sour enough. It was right around the corner from our apartment rental, and we’d probably go there again just for proximity reasons if we stay there again in the future.

Loved the service. Valet and security at the front door. Thick and robust coffee con leche. Overpriced small portion of ribeye was served with decadent au gratin potatoes with unremarkable salad and an unwelcomed gravy. The steak was however, cooked to perfection. My friend had lasagna which was a mammoth portion and our native friend ate bouillabaisse to her hearts content. I thought it strange to have travelled from nj to pr and to have as our first meal fresh off the plane, French cuisine. Well, $ 100 lighter, i mean later, with the taste of lemon tart on our lips we soaked up our first tropical sunset– and all was right in the world.

I have been in this place on several occasions for breakfast and one time for lunch. I absolutely love the food. The eggs benedict and eggs florentine are delicious, the side potatoes with herbes de provence are outstanding. The coffee and desserts are superb! The escargots and veal scallopini I had for lunch were pretty good. I highly recommend this restaurant. Merci Tradition Francaise !

Not only the breakfast was amazing but my daughter wanted chocolate pancakes and our waiter(who I think is the owner) brought her homemade chocolate sauce and cut the pancakes up for her… Now THATIS Service!!!

Great coffee and the best breakfast in town. A bit pricey but well worth it.

Its a french-puertorican«fusion» type of place. Nice breakfast, great bread, nice pastries — although their chocolate mouse cake was way to sweet even for me.

Billed as ««Boulangerie Bistro», this faux French restaurant falls short on both counts. Tried it for a late breakfast with my wife and ordered their Eggs Benedict. The acidic Hollandaise topped an insipid pair of eggs that left you wanting in every way. The wife’s quiche was equally uninspired for a restaurant bordering on pretentiousness. The décor is simple and nice, and the servers were prompt and attentive. I had heard good comments about this place, and I am left wondering if this was the chef’s day off. Still, Eggs Benedict on a French Bistro calls for tasty farm-fresh eggs, not boxed factory cackle. As a bakery, you have a large selection of small and pricey breads to choose from. Unfortunately, there are few places for specialty breads in San Juan, so they are not motivated by competition.
