DELISH X 100!!! Went there twice– once for lunch, liked it so much we went back the next night for dinner. Chicken wings, Buffalo Style were AMAZING, and since I am from Buffalo, that says a lot. We also had tacos and sandwiches on our lunch trip– nothing disappointed! For dinner– Excellent pasta dishes– I had the ravioli Florentine(and shared it with the resident stray kitty) and it was outstanding– others had the Nana’s 24 hour meat sauce… el yummo! Ask how it got its name. you will want to try it for sure. Churrasco Chimichurri was a big hit among our group also. Nice assortment of cocktails, happy hour specials, you name it. Remember, they are on island time, so sit back, relax and enjoy the experience. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would go back 1000 times more!

Food was tasty and flavorful and portions large. Service was also good. Although, it seemed a bit overpriced.

The food here is spectacular. Everything ordered was unique and delicious. The servers are fast and friendly. I will give it to the chef, even the mashed potatoes were the best I’ve had maybe ever.

Came in here with my girlfriend after some fun at the beach and left impressed! Ordered the Bushwacker drink and strawberry piña colada and both were AMAZING! Started the whole meal with some coconut fried shrimp and those were awesome. Finished the day with the grouper for the both of us and left feeling very happy. Honestly, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was very attentive! Great place for the price! Oh and their Caesar salad was AMAZING!

Shipwreck is my favorite restaurant in Rincon and has been for almost ten years. Drinks are great, good is incredible, and servers are always friendly and have great recommendations. Make sure to have the Mofungo!

Stopped to try somewhere I haven’t been before. Good atmosphere… special drafts on tap were not available, so back to the trusted Medalla. Had the Wahoo-ka-bob…wow…a lot of fish… never see that much served… I am a happy boy! Other order was mahi soft tacos… they were good as week. Great experience, we’ll be back.

We went here twice and each time the chef nailed the medium rare hamburger to perfection. I don’t know why most places have so much trouble getting their burgers to come out red, juicy, and delicious. It’s a such a treat when a burger is done correctly, and Shipwreck’s has it down. I had to dock them a star for a couple of reasons. First, they won’t serve you water unless you order a bottle of it. I doubt they could do this on the mainland, but PR writes it’s own rules so maybe I’m nitpicking. Also, we had to ask the servers to take off an extra charge both time we visited. The first time was an extra beer we never had, and the second was a $ 1 charge for«no bread» because I ordered my burger without a bun. I asked our server what the charge was for not ordering dessert, but he didn’t seem very amused. My advice is get the burger and check your bill.

I’ve been here 3 different times and the food is really good and so are the Bloody Mary’s! Both types of fish tacos are off the hook and the tuna salad is especially delicious! Only complaint(which is more of an observation) is some of the«veteran» servers seem disgruntled… I got the impression they were impatient with tourists. Like they had been working there forever and seemed jaded. Other than that, they all seemed really knowledgable about the food and the menu. I love that they always have great specials too! Will come back with every visit to Rincon.

This is a neat restaurant with a very nice tropical ambience and some nice tasting food. We ordered jalapeño poppers, portobello burger and shrimp risotto(nice spicy marinade), all of which tasted good along with sides of fries and salad(pretty tasty dressing).

We liked a lot about this restaurant — the excellent service, the cute décor, the open-air casual and fun atmostphere. The Mahi-Mahi tacos, the seafood salad appetizer were very tasty, and yet. Food was inconsistent — in fairness, this is Christmas Eve and maybe their regular chef is away. The hostess advertised the Sangria so we ordered it. It was almost syrupy and you couldn’t taste any red wine. They didn’t charge us when we sent it back and ordered yummy margueritas instead. The Grouper tacos are fried in a fried shell — ouch, too much. The mussels linguini was salty-as-anything and overcooked. So know what to order and you will have a good experience.

I loved this place and highly recommend it, but I want you to know what you are getting yourself into before you get there. The restaurant is completely outdoors with an awning and a couple of fans. If you want to cool down and get out of the humidity, choose another place. If you want to relax and have a casual dinner and drink, this is your place. In response to an earlier review, the bathroom was not at all an outhouse. The bathroom is well stocked and fully functioning. They even put bug spray out in case you didn’t remember to spray before you left the hotel. Honestly, the bathroom was probably the nicest part of the restaurant. There is a dog that roams around too. He minds his own business and doesn’t beg; I was actually a little disappointed that he didn’t let me pet him for more than a minute because I was missing my own puppies. As a whole, this restaurant is great if you are going for a relaxed beach vibe. This isn’t San Juan and they don’t pretend to be. I felt the food was very well priced if you weren’t trying to go all out and get the Filet Mignon. My husband and I got five drinks, the stuffed mango poppers, BBQ guava wings, and two burgers for under $ 100. Everything was amazing and the staff was great. Note: I believe that the owner also owns the paddle-boarding and surfing lesson place next door which is why they open at 5pm(after that business closes) on weekdays. I would recommend making a day trip and enjoying both businesses. I’d say go and enjoy it, just dress in casual breathable fabrics and and bring your sunglasses.

Brownie with vanilla ice cream & whipped cream I tasted everything and YES we overate… BUT I don’t regret it. ;) YUMMM! Would come back in a heartbeat

Stopped in with my husband and son for a drink and a bite to eat. I wasn’t expecting to be so impressed, though the reviews were good. The service was great, very attentive and friendly to my 5 year old, got his order in fast and on our table. I couldn’t decide between the churrasco chimichurri and the shrimp mofongo. I went with the beef, which was really good. The beef itself was tasty, the chimichurri sauce was fantastic. Even the mashed potatoes were good and I rarely find any kind of potato remarkable. My husband ordered the same thing. I might need to go back for the mofongo before we leave PR. Bonus, happy hour rum drinks. Rum and soda with a splash of pineapple for $ 2.75. Awesome.

Cute place, kinda pricey– would most likely come back for drinks at the bar. We had lunch here and the service was great. Everyone was super friendly and our waiter was very attentive. There was a dog on premises which I know is normal in Puerto Rico but it really bothered a guest that was with us to the point where she left the establishment. Dog was really sweet but if you don’t like dogs don’t come here. I had a Mojito that tasted very strange, everyone else had beer which came out nice and cold. I had the Fish tacos which were great and fresh. My boyfriend had the fried red snapper special which was ok but expensive!($ 30.00!) They had a grouper dish that was very tasty. Someone had the chicken salad and they were not satisfied. Overall too expensive for what you get.

Shipwreck is ducked off in a pavilion like atmosphere next to the beach. There weren’t many customers when we arrived and just sat at a table. I ordered the jalapeño poppers and my bff ordered the octopus salad for appetizers. I didn’t try the octopus but the salad that it came on was great. My jalapeño poppers left a bit to be desired since they were stuffed with a cream cheese mixture I wasn’t fond of. Moving on to the entrees. I ordered the chicken mofongo relleno and the bff got fish tacos. Her tacos were AMAZING and were seasoned to perfection. My mofongo was HUGE but a bit disappointing. The chicken was rubbery but the relleno sauce was OK. Our total was around $ 84 which is a little steep considering that the food wasn’t all that great. Maybe next time…
