Quaint, local place with delicious food and friendly service. Don’t expect a five star restaurant in this quiet beach town. Coffee was on point. We created our own crêpe and went with guava and cream cheese. That came out first. DELICIOUS. Also ordered huevos rancheros and a side of hash browns. The table was silent as the two of us ate. Bill was about $ 30 and worth every penny.

Awesome coffee and very delicious crepes, chicken wings were crispy on outside but were dry inside. Apart from chicken wings everything else was good.

So good! We came twice for breakfast and once for lunch while staying at nearby Wyndham Rio Mar. Worth the 10 minute drive. Obsessed with the coffee and house made hot sauce… we tried all week to get the recipe(banana based!), but no luck! Crepes, huevos rancheros, and a twist on eggs benedict are all great breakfast choices, and make sure to ask about the daily lunch specials… traditional Puerto Rican favorites. Everything is made with love and the service is top notch.

It is a good place for brunch. The waiters are very warm. The location is next a beach, thus very convenient after surfacing

Judging by the crowd that was there, this is a popular spot! Go early to beat the crowd. Super friendly staff, and delicious food!

What a lucky find in the midst of a small Puerto Rican town struggling economically. It’s two blocks from the beach in the hub of town. They have a full service coffee bar and juice bar and many breakfast lunch omelette crepes and sandwich offerings. They also had plates meals with fish and chicken and beef and vegetables. The waitress was lovely. And your mindful that you’re in a developing part of the island and the pace of everything is very slow down. The patrons were international: Asians, Puerto Ricans Europeans, Americans of various racial tones. We enjoyed some fresh squeezed orange juice, a deliciously prepared latte, a vegetable crêpe, and a charrasco steak and cheese Panini. The bathroom scene was gross. A backed up Toilet with feces. A secondary bathroom near the kitchen while flushable and clearly used by staff had no running water in the sink. That changed my whole view of the restaurant.

Get the Cuban sandwich. Prob one of the best Cubans I’ve ever had. It was large. Good enough for two at breakfast. Lunch you could probably finish yourself

First time here, found the place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Great price and food is beyond expectation. I ordered the eggs and turkey ham and Nutella crepes with bananas, and everything was cooked perfectly. The butter toasts were so delicious, as well as the turkey ham. The best thing was the crepes, best crepes that I had ever, that include back home(Arizona). It’s a small café and they seems busy the whole time we were there. Can’t wait to come back again!

Lots of rave reviews on this location, and we thought it was good. The service was certainly alright, and the atmosphere was nice. The food was different – not what we had read or expected. The crepes are really all they are cracked up to be, so my advice: stick to the crepes when ordering here. The eggs benedict used an imitation cheese sauce in place of hollandaise… and maybe it’s a matter of taste and/or expectations, but I really didn’t like it. And a bread roll instead of an English muffin. Strange. Other reviewers have been more kind, but I will order a crêpe instead next time. And like I said, the crepes are awesome!

Maybe it was eating all the non-stop fried foods, or maybe it was the server who seemed to care more about us than anyone else in the whole country, but whatever the reason, Aromas Coffee & Crepes was the best dining experience on a vacation I enjoyed with some friends. Their take on Eggs Benedict is heavy and greasy, but filling and delicious. Their crepes are filled and cheap. Their coffee is a little lackluster, but everything’s much better than the building itself offers. I was hesitant going in, but the woman who worked with our husband(giving him an adorable peck on the cheek), who waited on our table and cooked our food, who spoke to us in flawless English… she was the heart and soul of the restaurant. And yet we went a second time and had a different server and everything was of the same caliber of quality. Family owned? I don’t know, let’s let that be a mystery. If you’re in Loquillo, stop by and have brunch. You’ll be glad you did.

This is a great(if not the only) breakfast spot in Luquillo. We stopped by two mornings in a row to fuel up. Service was friendly but a little slow, but we weren’t in a huge rush. The crepes are humongous! We tried both a sweet and savory crêpe. The sweet crepes were perfect, and everything you could ever ask for in a crêpe. The breakfast crêpe with cheese, ham, and pepper was thick and a bit dry, but I loved the taste of the crêpe itself. The Eggs Benedict looked interesting, but I would recommend against it. It was a sunny side up egg drowned in salty cheese and bacon on a huge piece of baguette. This was very different from the ones that come on an English muffin. Plus, they have delicious coffee($ 1.35 for a 6 ounce cup)! I was slightly sad mine didn’t come with a design, but I soon got distracted by my food.
