Went here for lunch on 12÷20÷15. Nice location but food is way overpriced and unremarkable, service slow, and overall experience was disappointing. Can’t understand the excellent reviews I see here in other postings. Would have liked to give a better rating but honestly I can’t.

Ordered passion fruit frappé, osscobuco with fried sweet potato, and cod fillet with baked potato. There’s a bird outside that can say Hola but it never does when I film it. Meal was great, the meat fell right off the bone. The fillet was good but was made too simple, just grill and salt/​pepper.

Después de visitar PR tantas veces fui recomendada por una amiga y por fin tuvimos mi esposo y yo el placer de comer en este lugar tan rico romántico y precioso!!! Quedamos encantados y volveremos!!! Servicio excelente buena presentación comida muy sabrosa y un vino exclusivo! Que gusto me da que nuestra isla tan bella pero pequeña tenga un lugar tan exclusivo

El Tenedor is an institution in Juncos. It’s housed in a century old distillery which makes a visit quite interesting. Although I’ve been to the restaurant a couple times it’s cuisine is not out of the ordinary. However it’s Bistro, which is it’s lively bar is great. It’s outdoors with the chimney of the old distillery in the back ground. On weekends there is entertainment, and you can always order tapas at the bar. The crowd is lively, mixed, young and mature and friendly.

I’ve been going to El Tenedor for basically 32 years and they have the BEST service and food in the island, yes the restaurant it is in Juncos but is not far from San Juan and the food is worth the short drive. The building itself is full of history! They used to produce Ron Caray (Rum Caray) before WWII World War II, then the government mandated the halt of rum productions and assigned them to work making parts for the war. After the war they decided to start a restaurant.
If you like history, a nicely decorated place, good steak, good Caribbean food, good drinks, good wines… well you have to visit El Tenedor.

Just went to the patio bar and loved it… I’ll give it the 5th star when I try the restaurant… well, went there quite a few times after started the review and will give it 5 of 5 stars. The BEST skirt stake I’ve ever had anywhere.

My favorite restaurant in Puerto Rico. I love their steaks and the mofongo de yuca. Staff is very friendly and prices are fair. They have a very good variety of wines. I always have the churrasco with mofongo de yuca.
