We rented kayaks and snorkel gear here. Friendly service. Returning the gear was quick and easy.

We rented bikes and snorkels for six days for our trip to Culebra. Ken was very helpful and knowledgable on where to go. He gave us a great map and we visited and snorkeled all of the beaches he told us about. The gear worked great. Logged hours under water amongst the numerous reefs and miles on his well tuned bicycles. We were able to see so much more of the island this way! I would highly recommend visiting this shop for bike and snorkel rentals!

Culebra Bike Shop offers an amazing bike rental service. Ken(the of the bike shop) went above and beyond our expectations. We got to the island on Dec 29th2015 and didn’t have any way to get around the island. There were no cars/scooters available. I called Ken after his bike shop got good reviews in my Fodors travel book. Ken delivered my boyfriend and I 2 bikes to our place where we were staying(which was about 10 minutes from town)! The bikes are also only $ 15 a day per bike to rent(which is a lot cheaper than a car/scooter). During the 4 days we had the bikes, one of the bikes had a problem with the axle. We left the bikes locked up to a tree at the beach and called Ken for help. He came to the beach, fixed the broken bike, and delivered it back to our house at night. In addition, on our last day we weren’t able to bring the bikes to Ken’s shop because of our luggage that we needed to bring to the ferry that wouldn’t be able to fit on the bikes. We called Ken and he came and picked up our 2 bikes and brought us down to the ferry with our luggage. Amazing customer service and thoughtfulness! The bikes were a great way to experience Culebra even if it may have been a little hilly at times. Thanks Ken and Culebra Bike Shop for all of your help!

Ken and Amy Jo are awesome. They helped us out with a tent and air mattress rental on thanksgiving day, which was a lifesaver. They were kind enough to meet us at the airport, since their shop was closed. Tent was easy enough to set up, just be aware that there are no electrical outlets near the tents at flamenco beach so you have to walk back and forth, which is not fun in the dark. Our one unfortunate circumstance was that the air mattress deflated before we even went to bed. We had no sleeping bags and it became a miserable night quickly in the heat with a deflated mattress. Luckily, they had one spare mattress, which ken thankfully brought over to us the next day. He is so nice! Their shop is in a good location by the ferry and definitely use them without worries. Thank you for all the help ken!

It’s a great ma and pop establishment. They all speak English and are very friendly. I felt like they cared to make my experience great and they went out of their way to give me great tips for enjoying my trip on the island. Great staff, good equipment and great prices and really the advice they give just makes me have to recommend people to them!

What an unprofessional rental place! We rented two bikes for the day. The owner spent 10 minutes trying to find a rusty old lock for the bikes. He also did not seem to care about the bikes– he let one of the bikes fall and was very careless in general. The whole time we were there, he was chatting with a friend and basically ignored us. Then we started biking, and within 15 minutes, we got a flat tire on one of the bikes. These were mountain bikes, and we were riding carefully on the main paved road. When we came back to return the bikes(after a 40 minute walk back…), the owner gave most of our money back, but insisted that we pay to fix it. He kept blaming us for the flat, even though it was clearly because of the terrible bikes. Two of our friends rented bikes from a different company, and we could see what real mountain bikes should look like. In short, if you are renting a bike, rent from another company, even if you spend a few extra bucks!

Excellent service, friendly owners, good quality gear! We rented a 2 person kayak to go out to Luiz Pena for the day. That was great fun, especially because we got to kayak at our own speed that way without being tied down by joining a tour group. Just rent when you need it and drop it off when you’re done! They have plenty of other stuff too(hammocks, snorkel stuff, umbrellas, bikes). Reasonably priced service with helpful advice as well!
