The good thing about having friends all over the world is that they know where to take you when you’re visiting a new place. As was the case here. A friend of my friend told us about a «designer market»(«Wintertime») which was to take place at Pauza. Being totally new in Krakow I probably would have never found that place by myself. The designers displayed some really nice stuff — we literally went crazy at the sight of it — especially compared to the high prices in Austria everything seemed ridiculously cheap to us! Since the market took place during the day, I only got a glimpse of what Pauza must be like at night as a bar, but what I saw I liked. They have a basement downstairs, where they apparently host DJs every once in a while. And the bar on the 1st floor has black-and-white potraits all over the walls. Big like. So if you’re out shopping at Ulica Florianska, try to stumble into this place and have a look yourself!
