aka — International Cultural Centre. Well worth stopping by to catch whatever the main gallery is showing. The MCK/ICC is active in research, education, publishing, and exhibitions related to international cultural dialogue focusing on Central Europe. The exhibit I saw, A Lithuanian Tale, featured Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis(1875 – 1911). It was just was awesome — well curated an included drawings, poems, prints, photography, sheet music and beyond from a multi-talented artist with strong connections to Polish art circles of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The building interior and gallery space is light, open, and modern — it’s a wonderful and easy to tackle addition to whatever museums are on the list to view in Old Town.
