The scariest thing is moving to a new country and finding a place that can cut and style your hair like the lady who has been doing it since you were 12 years old. I walked in to Gavichi’s to buy shampoo and ended up chatting with a lady sitting at the front desk for 20 minutes about my hair. She seemed to understand exactly what I was looking for in a cut and color and made me feel so at ease that I ended up making an appointment for a cut and color ($ 220). My appointment was with Rochelle and she just rocks. Seriously, she’s amazing. She makes me feel so comfortable the whole time I’m there (which is hours) and colors my hair exactly how I want it. She is so patient with me whenever I’m not sure how I want to cut my hair and reassures me when I decided to chop it all off that it will look okay (and it did). Love my appointments with her and love Gavichi’s. Check them out on the second floor of Merivale Mall!
