Now that I work part-time at Auckland Uni, I often grab lunch from this little sushi bar before heading to my desk. It certainly doesn’t look like anything special — it’s located in the Quad along with a whole lot of other food-court-type student fare — but it’s always yummy and cheap, too! They have a good range of sushi — tuna, salmon, avocado, crab, prawn, and I usually grab 7 or so pieces for around $ 9, which is more than enough for me. They’re always busily restocking the sushi as soon as you take it off the platter, so there’s a steady supply of your favourites. Plus the people working there are so lovely, and always give me two soy fish and a generous helping of ginger, which definitely endears me to them further!
