My favourite little sushi shop in Auckland. I’m always impressed by their sushi and their customer service for that matter. This store is so tiny but has that authentic feel to it. It’s always consistent and fresh which is so important when it comes to Sushi. They also have a Sushi of the day special which is really good value for money. I mean it is a typical sushi chain store! Still worth a visit if you’re in Ponsonby.

St Pierre’s Sushi in Ponsonby, is one of the many look-a-like chain stores, across New Zealand. If you want sushi or sashimi that is sold out, the staff will make it for you, while you wait! I have had the ‘St Pierre’s Sushi’ experience many times and they are continuously efficient and professional. Love the miso soup! They also have a loyalty card, so after 9 sushi packs, you can have one on the house! You can buy extra ginger, soy sauce and mayonnaise for 60 cents, if desired. Eat in or take out! Fabulous.
